ടൈറാന്‍ ജലസന്ധികള്‍

സൗദി അറേബ്യയിലെ ടൈറാന്‍ ദ്വീപിന് ഇരുവശത്തുമുള്ള ഇടുങ്ങിയ ജലസന്ധികള്‍. ഇവ അക്വാബ ഉള്‍ക്കടലിനെ ചെങ്കടലുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പ. സിനായ് ഉപദ്വീപും കി. സൗദി അറേബ്യന്‍ വന്‍കരയും സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. അക്വാബ ഉള്‍ക്കടലിന്റെ മുനമ്പില്‍ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഇസ്രയേലി തുറമുഖമായ ഏലാത്തി (Elath)ലേക്കുള്ള ഏക പ്രവേശന മാര്‍ഗം കൂടിയാണ് ടൈറാന്‍.
